Knowing you
Distance became our holy teacher,
Years, our celestial guide.
I did not know that absence
Could plant divine seeds so deep inside.
Like the peepal's ancient wisdom,
Sacred in the hallowed earth,
Your spirit found eternal ground
In the temple of my hearth.
With each moon's blessed passing,
New branches reached toward heaven's light,
Roots entwining with my soul
As stars marked our separate nights.
I know now your sacred silences,
The prayers you dare not speak,
The godly fire in your spirit,
The faith when you are weak.
The Creator has been our witness,
Weaving destiny where love flows.
You have blossomed inside my spirit
In ways the universe only knows.
When our souls converge again, dear friend,
As the cosmos has surely planned,
We'll recognize our eternal bond
In a moment divinely grand.
Years, our celestial guide.
I did not know that absence
Could plant divine seeds so deep inside.
Like the peepal's ancient wisdom,
Sacred in the hallowed earth,
Your spirit found eternal ground
In the temple of my hearth.
With each moon's blessed passing,
New branches reached toward heaven's light,
Roots entwining with my soul
As stars marked our separate nights.
I know now your sacred silences,
The prayers you dare not speak,
The godly fire in your spirit,
The faith when you are weak.

In ways the universe only knows.

As the cosmos has surely planned,
We'll recognize our eternal bond
