I've been looking for that lost girl 😥😢

I lost a big part of myself, She was kind and innocent and trusting. She always saw the best in others. Full of forgiveness and generosity. She some how always managed to smile no matter how hard life seem to be, She had a beautiful spark in her eyes, a real charmer.

I've been looking for her for the past couple of years, now my eyes lost the light that use to glimmer in the dark. With new year approaching
I decided maybe that girl will never be found.
She was killed by the very people she trusted and loved. It hurts but i have to grief the loss and move on. I've come to terms with the fact that she is no longer alive.

To new beginnings i can only hope that girl
Would be proud of the woman I'm slowly transitioning into. This one seems wise,
Strong she doesn't smile as much,
But she knows her path and she has a plan.
She doesn't care about anyone , she's selfish
She doesn't ever want to depend on anyone
No time for let downs, cheers to rebirth

I lost a girl like that once, I did find her again....sort of, yet she was out in the wild world for so long she came back different, feral.

Like losing a friend who has to spend years in the jungle and when is finally found there more animal than human, and try as we might to search in their eyes for the being we once new often we find they're gone. Just the shell is the same. (A few more scars maybe).

I hope yours emerges one day from the jungle, and you discover that no matter how bad things got she kept a few pieces of her protected from the savagery of the other place.

She sounds pretty great
