What is Ambivalence to a Dead Man ?

The Ambivalence

I can feel it flowing freely
From the river of you that flows to me
And all I can ever do is close my eyes

I let it wash me under
And as it passes like a storm of thunder
I just contemplate all the how's and why's

And though I'd wish things different
My wishes are insufficient
But I refuse to just sit here as I cry

Because I don't know just where I stand
But I know that I am not the man
I know that you just can't accept my strange

Just not enough And a bit too rough
But I was forced to grow up tough
And I'm not sure how much of that will change

And yeah, you say you love me
But there within your honesty
Are all the tell-tale signs of how I'm blamed

And though I once thought I could be your one
But now I'm sensing that the time has come
When all I'll be left with is the shame

A never-ending winding road
Left for me to walk alone
As you keep on shining just the same

Within your light I felt alive
But within your shade I simply died
Every time the space and time had came

My heart returning to the frost
My soul now bearing all new scars
My mind again now circling the drain.

The Snowdog

What does ambivalence mean?

2- A state of uncertainty or indecisiveness.

None of which makes a licked spit of difference to a dead man.
