Love is a child

O love is sacrifice
Love is courage
Love is patient
Love is kind and caring
Yes love is many things
But love is one
"Love is a child"

Sacrifice preserves love
Courage protects and fight for love
But to me love will remain a child
For the grown preach love but have little
Love is a child
For the glimmer of hope and joy it brings
For the warm and comfort of its sound
Like a child in her mother's bosom
So is love in the arms of those who honour her
And curse be upon those who desecrate her

Virtues.......they are like the ornaments of the rich
But love bedazzle them all
