Absent Heart

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
But now I start to truly wonder.
What happens when a heart string strays.
Fed up with it's current ways.
Tensioned to a breaking point.
No words can mend or refix joint.
Stretched so far it must surly break.
Heart string let loose make no mistake.
Whipping round hoping to score.
Trying to belong once more.
