A new poem

Life is often hard and filled with endless pain,
Sometimes we try hard with very little gain,

All of the obstacles which come our way,
Each and every passing day,

Just taking the time to watch the sun rise and set,
Preserving instant postcards within our minds we shall never forget,

People who come and go touching our heart and soul,
Those who pick up the pieces and who help make us whole,
Through all the pain and joy, eventually we find our role,

Born to exist and then live beyond this time,
From the ridiculous to the sublime,
Eternity is where we hear the perfect chime, dear God please just show me a sign......
