I write simple poems

The reading of poems is a must,
Poetry is the splattering of a words upon a canvas, something which provides a comforting wind's gust,

Each poet paints a picture through the art of prose,
Sometimes rhyming while pouring out inner motions like a blooming rose,

Finding words that touch the heart and mind,
Sometimes reflecting thoughts which can be very unkind,

The spilling out of one's vulnerable individual soul for people to read and discern,
Hidden meaning, often releasing a slow burn,

All deep poems reflect people's raw emotion and love,
Often inspired by life and the God above,

Poetry is used to feel, heal and help people cope,
With all of life's misery, it can often provide much needed hope.

God bless those who write and fight for what's right,
It often pushes many souls into the light....
