The Arabs of Arabia back then were possessors of very rich and eloquent speech.

That the people would hold poetry competitions in every corner and in every street.
many people would make really good fortune and reputation just by sitting down and saying poetry.
It was a well recognized occupation back then.
kings and ministers would summom poets to their palaces so they say poems in their glory.
And the better poet, gets more money.
Stories and legends would travel across the deserts and oasis of Arabia easily from a region to another by this poetry that steals the heart of its audience.
Before Islam , while the Romans and Persians had technology and military power
The Arabs had the intelligence to memorize hundreds of lines of poetry in split seconds.
That is why when the Quran was revealed , it
challenged them in the thing that they excelled at the most , eloquence !
Yet the poets and all the tribes of Arabia were dazzled by its speech that they couldn’t produce anything like it even with teamwork
And that’s why in the course of those 1400+ years no one was able to play with the Quran or produce another version.
Unlike the Bible , Quran has no versions.
