Candlelit Face
Your face is like a candle,
That warms the folds of my skin,
Alighting me with passions that begin:
Reminded of a love that runs,
Pumping blood to the brain,
Nearly unable to abstain
From a hasty embrace.
A face, a candle,
That holds infinite beauty,
Founded on a soul-taken love done unto me.
I stare into magnificent flames,
Accepting every breath, each hand that I take.

Nearly unable to abstain
