The man I knew was strong

He did things others never thought

Determined as he was to succeed

Fought the odds and believed in his own creed

Humble enough to know when to go back home, call his mom

Who always told him: "There's always a place here for you and your son

In that last call, you told me words common to most: "I love you, you know?"

So many times I didn't know why, I said: "Yes, of course! I always know."

Two weeks go by and you were gone in a flash, like the shine of a shooting star

Now I believe that where you are truly is a paradise...

That's why no one has come back
