Three Little Eggs

Somewhere on a window sill, there sit three little eggs waiting for time to stand still. Then and only then will these three little lives begin and we will discover what lies within. With their Mother away and hoping for them to find their own way, like turtles to the ocean, she prays that one day they will hear her calling their names.

Three little eggs then became fledglings with croaky voices and wide, weary eyes. They looked around and found only their kin, but no one else of their kind. How could a babe with no way to be fed ever hope to achieve a life beyond its nest? Thankfully, this story demonstrates that the virtue of compassion is not dead.

This nest happened to be placed on a ledge near an office where many workers would go on a break to keep themselves fed.

When the three little fledglings attempted to sing, a woman on her lunch break would bring them wet bread as she felt for the little things. The next day, a man who worked there too did the same thing, and so did everyone else in the office for a month or two.

A radio played in the background and constantly sang a song about things being alright. The three little fledglings had grown wings and became real birds of a feather. They would jump and flap a little higher every day until they all built up enough confidence to endure the weather.

The three little birds heard their mother's call above the noise of the urban sprawl. "I'm glad you have grown. Come find me, I am eager to meet you all." As they flew away, they found their mother and rejoiced with the songs they could sing to each other.

The three little birds would soon return to that nest by the window sill and would sit and sing for the people when the time was just right.

The song they would sing would let everyone know "every little thing is going to be alright."
