Keeping Tears

Keeping Tears

Keep my tears for a day.
Keep in jar not thrown away.
Let them flow to wash the pain.
Streaky cheeks are back again.

Keep my tears for a day.
Fill a bottle don't throw away.
Let them flow to clear the mind.
Streaky cheeks look so unkind.

Keep my tears for a day.
Fill a barrel don't throw away.
Let them flow see who cares.
Streaky cheeks as soul bares.

Keep my tears for a day.
Fill a tank don't throw away.
Let them flow until I run dry.
Streaky cheeks but no one knows why.

Take my tears gathered today.
Filled in vessels in my dismay.
Let them flow back to me.
Filled with kindness for all to see.

Why cry?

Why not keep smiles instead?

Smiles never rarely keep.
They vanish when we fall sleep.
Smiles hides the true pain.
So it happens time again.
Smiles bring people near.
Giving rise to no space fear.
Smiles means Im feeling fine.
People then step over line.
Smiles hides the painful tears.
Tears suppressed for many years.

Wow that's nice to really know.
D can write to heart glow.
That was really quick to write.
Was concerned it caused a fright.
Spot on though you claim it to be.
On I go just to see.
You smile through the tears in heart.
Kinda difficult knowing where to start.
Touched by your kind reply.
A few words inspired this guy.
Spot your words on the left they lay.
In my tears throughout the day.
My words give me a brief pause.
Heart broken by the cause.
There for your touched heart.
Your words in each line at the start.
