I remember wanting my own trailer at one point when I was younger . Instead ended up with a house and a mortgage.
I feel saddened at the direction of the trailer community market / the lack of rent controls on the land and the aggressive price hikes on the land by land lords with few checks in place to protect residents.
In the USA, we have people who are homeless today who in the older more fair system, could have afforded a trailer home in a trailer park.
It feels like some stronger price protections could have been afforded to the renters in those communities.
