Another way nature serves its children
In the Arizona desert, wild burros/donkeys travel dry riverbeds, carrying their diviner rods, and when a spot calls to them, they start to dig with their hooves like a dog does with its paws.
Slowly, water seeps into holes they’ve dug, producing water where there seems to be none.
When the donkeys have satisfied their thirst and moved on, other desert creatures like coyotes and birds use the created waterholes to sustain life.
