I Love the Desert

*bundles up* Freakin' 80 degrees outside... 😒
That's not cold. You start to get used to hotter and hotter temperatures, though. So if it's 100 for a chunk of the day (and it was), that 80 is going to be noticeable. Of course.
In the summer, after consistent 120, 90 starts to feel like the perfect temperature.

I lived in Phoenix for two years so I definitely know how brutal summer months can be. I still loved the winter time there, though, when it was in the 70's almost every day.

@SW-User It is. The last time I was there I hiked at the Usery Mtn Recreational area. I did it late in the day so coming down the mountain, it was just about sunset. The desert looked amazing with the tall saguaro cacti and the backdrop of the pink and red sky.
