One way to handle difficult subjects is to first read through the entire section or chapter without trying to understand it, just like reading a story. Then, go back and start learning from the beginning. This is a brain hack technique. The initial free read makes the material ‘familiar’ to the brain, reducing novelty resistance and easing the learning process.

For me, what made physics easy was my love for the subject. If you genuinely develop curiosity and interest in the subject, it feels easier.

@Renkon amazing thank you

All physics problems can be boiled down into 3 things: Trigonometry problems, forces problems, or energy problems.

Learn these 3 things and you can potentially solve almost any physics 1 and 2 problem as long as you know how to manipulate the equations.

@Tarnished now i need practice manipulating the equations than

@Northwest i don't want answers for the tests, read my OP again, I'm asking for tips and pointers on how to study, if there is any particular book or youtube series that can help me. I want to study so I can pass myself...

@turtle777rescuer He's comment applies even in this case. Everyone is different in what works for them.

I used to study in a fast food joint. That wouldn't work for most. You need to find what works for you. Only you know yourself best.

Maybe start by taking an internship as an assistant engineer or something

You probably don't want to hear this, but if you can't pass Physics on your own, you're not going to be able to make it as Mechanical Engineer, but you're probably going to try to ask people for answers to quizzes and use the answers anyway. There was a guy here, years ago, I used to help out, until I told him he needs to do it on his own.

My experience with engineering physics was that if you didn't learn it during the course of the semester, no amount of studying was going to help. I passed, but a lot of my classmates didn't.

What kind of physics?
turtle777rescuer · 36-40, M
@sciguy18 it's first year physics for mechanal engineering, so the basics but it's still hard lol
