Sometimes u gotta fight fire with fire
Not at first … or even halfway but when you’ve given enough and all that you receive is heartbreak then it’s time to batten down the hatches bc it’s gonna be a bumpy ride 😈
Then return to your original awesome self with at least some of your dignity still left in tact and quietly tell yourself “I did the best I could from what I had” knowing that’s the truth instead of living as someone who is full of bs 24/7
