I Have Had Sleep Paralysis

This happened around the time I was 8 or so. I woke up one morning and when I opened my eyes I saw what looked like a giant praying mantis making a horrible screeching noise. I tried screaming and moving but no sound came out and I couldn't move. My vision was blurry and I didn't understand what was happening, but it was so vivid.

I had this once and that was quite enough. It was BEYOND TERRIFYING.

I had a green plant with lots of leafy twisting extensions, and these became the hair of a green Medusa in my waking dream. I was paralyzed in the dream and totally unable to move.

Horrible. Thanks for reminding me.
