I Have Had Sleep Paralysis

I wish I'd never tried to go to sleep tonight. I'm up at 4:00 again and there's no way I'm going back to sleep. I could use someone to talk to!

Don’t worry about it. It’s a lack of simultaneity when two parts of the brain are working. The more you get worried about it, the harder is to move yourself.
It’s said it happens in period of stress.
Take it like an experience you are familiarised with bc you already experienced and wait for the right moment for your body to make the effort of moving.
It’s a pretty unpleasant exoerience, I know it but it’s normal and it will end.
Try to sleep for a time in a different posture.

@twistermind Thanks, I know about all of the little tricks, most don't work for me. I've tried sleeping all kinds of different ways, and in different rooms.

@Jj2k00 Including the trick of being as calm as possible.
I suffered these experienced when I was in a very stressed period and then, they disappear. Many times, the best trick is to accept them and don’t do anything.
