Not the night we planned on

Well the Royals really let us down tonight so we actually changed the channel to the hockey game. Maybe we're bad luck tonight.

So they boys we're playing when Joel's cousin walks in our backyard.

Joe jumps up and walks to meet him.

Link sees him and runs over to me and jumps on my lap. He closes his eyes and puts his thumb in his mouth.

I hold him close and tell him everything will be ok. They are talking in Spanish so im clueless but i can read Joel's body language and he doesn't setup.

So Joel and him walked over to us. Link grabbed me tighter.

Joel says Mijo your primo wants to talk to you. I think you should listen to him mijo.

Link opens his eyes but doesn't let go me

Its amazing how a child can bring a grown man thisto tears.

They talked a alot more but i think it will take some time for this sweet boy to really forgive him but its a start.
