People are so cruel

So the boys got home from school today and as usual out tiny tornado was a ball of energy and told me all about our day but our oldest boy when and sat down on the couch and got his blanket and laid down.

I was worried he was sick so I went over to him and asked if we feeling sick he said no just sad

Why

Because my feelings got hurt.

Long story short our boys is special needs but he goes to a regular school. He has a aid that helps him though out the day. One of the other students aids has taking to him and he asked him about his best friend

Our boy said my best friend is a lawyer and when I grow up I'm going to be a lawyer too and we're going to work together

He then told me the aid touched his head and said oh honey that is sweet but they don't let boys like you be a lawyer. You be lucky to get a real job and not live in a group home.

I have no words for what he told me.

Once when my son first started having epilepsy when he was 15 he had one of his first seizures in the school yard while they were playing soccer in the school field, it was cold outside, he found himself outside on the ground all by himself when he came to, his phys ed teacher and class left him laying on the ground in the cold outside by himself.. We didn't find out until much later when he told us about it a year later!!! Also his principal favored one twin and hated the other... One twin was casted as adopt a saint.. Where they set him up with at risk students from two schools his school the high school, and the elementary, they would hook him up with students who were cutters outcasts and really at risk, and he would befriend them and read to them, and even buy them presents and make them feel special... The other twin the principal accused of being the drug king pen of a really really really really bad drug one that he's never done, ever! He was the twin left out in the field, he just felt like the school was unfair and cruel and unkind to him. The other twin, when the principal became the Superintendent even years later after my son had graduated he would still call him on his Birthday and wish him a Happy Birthday! Like one twin was favored to the highest utmost respect and the other twin scorned! I too see how cruel the educational system is.
