I have been very happy with my dentures for over 20 years. A lot of dentists, including mine, want to save teeth, and they like to encourage implants. Implants are not without their problems, and they're expensive! Frankly, I like being able to remove my teeth when I want to, because it relieves the gums and just feels good. The key is getting dentures which fit and function well. That depends on the dentist, to a great extent, as well as the patient.

I got mine late in life, 58, and wish that I had done it years before.

@JohnQ No issues at all with the lower denture. And I don't use any adhesives either.
