Broken ribs suck

So Joel called me with a update. His doctor says his rids are healing but are just healing slowly. Blamed it on his age. He offered to give him more pain meds but Joel didn't want any. They make him really foggy and well they make it hard for you to go add that with the pain from his ribs. You get the picture.

So he wrote him a prescription for pain patches and ibuprofen 800. The bruising and swelling are still pretty bad so he wants him to use a heating pad more often. He's still on light duty at work. I think he's kinda liking the break. They always made him do the heavy lifting. I just hope it doesn't go back to that when he's cleared for full duty again
