I think i'm allergic

to the meds doc has given me for the gallstone pain. Im itching head to toe and have tiny blisters on my hands and feet!! Its horrid!!

Yep thats an immune response.

Take some anithistamine quick . It prolly wont stop it, but itll slow it from getting worse .

Dp you have any cortizone cream ?

@OogieBoogie i take anti histamines every day usually....percribed by doc.....but I cant take them on these meds.so....i've stopped the meds and will start the antihistamines again tomoz. Just hope the other pain doesnt flare up again!!

@RubySoo ahhh. It could just be that ur off ur antihistamines...systemic response has come back .

@OogieBoogie the antihistamines are percribed for hayfever/ rhinitis..... although i am prone to hives ( but not had hives for years)
I had a though tho last night about how i used to suffer so badly from hives i had to take time off work..... and at the time, i was suffering from IBS a lot ( all stress related) and i was put on Buscopan by doc.
This is the same drug........
It does say in the leaflet not to take with antihistamines.

So im not going to take it again til ive spoken to the surgery,and pray my gallbladder behaves for the next 2 days....
Back on my antihistimines!
