My doctor is getting me one of those handicapped parking tags for my knees.

It will help but I don't know if I want that attached to me. I have a hard enough time accepting what hand has been dealt as is. This will stare at me everytime I get in and out of the car. I still refuse to use those store electric scooters.

Maybe I'm just being stubborn or too proud.

You need help, though... there's no shame in using something if it helps you to remain independent and do more for yourself than you can without it.

Is your own stubbornness really worth limiting the independence that you have and are fighting so hard to keep???
