I see it as a balance.
Radical empathy is good, but so are boundaries.
You get help people if you can't help yourself.

Yeah.. Unless you were trained to regulate adults as a child, then you are just stuck always seeing other ppls perspectives, both sides of the story, and have to rewire yourself.

@H1raeth Understood. That's happened many times to me but I try to see it as it's about them going through something and they aren't equipped with the emotional tools to know how to handle it
