Why are 90% of all "selfies" taken in a bathroom mirror?
Just seems to be weird to me. Lots of better places I would think.

Probably a matter of the best mirror for the purpose rather than its location, but if you are going to photograph yourself it's better to use a proper camera on a tripod, and set the shutter-timer.
