The background western sky is a pinkish hue and the light starting to filter in from the east has an orange tinge. The trees seem a contrast of bright and dark and as I gaze out the window with my coffee in hand…, I find the whole scene kinda lovely.
What are you favorite hikes? I hiked, backpacked and dabbled in mountaineering, canyoneering and technical rock climbing for many years in the Southwest US. Many favorites from each.
