My walk today.
@Perry1968 I am not personally familiar with Cardiff, Wales or any part of UK.
As for the natural beauty of Canada, it IS spot on. BUT one needs to actually reside and/or have a vocation were one is afforded the opportunity for travel and this is not my life.
Your friend's job would probably lend to various travel opportunities, by default; It sounds like an absolute dream :D !!!
I am re-reading this really cool book from events which took place, basically a century ago, about a family or families, but it focuses on ONE specific family, way out in the middle (literally :) ) of nowhere, in BC, regarding homesteading.
>>>WOW. Amazing.
Courageous and possess aptitude in droves and must have FAITh in themselves and as a young married couple, each other and be EXCEEDIN9LY resourceful and willing to learn learn and LEARN some more (for life. A but what a LIFE!!! :) )
I must learn, it is one of my core tenets; but I am not built for a homesteading life ( I am reasonably certain :D .)
It is just a different world, a different life :))) And I am all for it, but not for me. I need more amenities to be present (like ma9ic, voila! lol) .
I.E.: I do assemble furniture, 9arden, paint all sorts of stuff, etc....BUT: I will not build a water pump, or an entire home!!!
Or scare off actual bears by SCEAMIN9 LOUD!!! But, this man`s adult daughter, does scare off 9rizzly bears by hollering VERY loudly!!! ...😳🙂↕😂👏

So stunning and breathtaking and calm.
I love the cows, so fuzzy and serene :)))
Is it near Plymouth? (yes, I did google, and extrapolated from your Dam post :) )
Thank you! I really needed this nature post and vista.
(City is basically DEAD in winter where I live, and I for one, kinda despize urban life.)

@Perry1968
I am lucky bc my friend resides near Cardiff.
And I am born in one of the Baltic countries, so I know in my BLOOD: water and forest and even foraging for food :D <3
Nowadays, I live in a massive metropolis in Canada...😵💫🥶
I live on the seafront in Plymouth
A blissing ! 😀✨Thanks for sharing it with us all. I am lucky bc my friend resides near Cardiff.

As it turns out bliss became a new word, it is now a noun-verb, so, some typos are rights on the nose 😳🤭😂👍 💯

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGONCanada sounds awesome. Cold or not. I have a friend who spent alot of time there as a aircraft maintenance tech. He said its beautiful there. And from what ive seen online i agree. And 😆 Plymouth has lots of dodgy hotspots though. Its a port city. Night life was terrible for trouble. But theres history here. Lots. That path where the cows were for example was an old route to Plymouth via Wembury etc before the roads that developed over time. . And yaay Cardiff. Similar sized city i think? EDIT. I got it wrong I meant largest naval base. Not city. Ah who cares anyway..😆👍 .
I wish I had someplace beautiful like that to walk. How beautiful. Just gorgeous. Thank you for sharing these with us. You are blessed.

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Ah. Iam hyper vigilant. Id say Sensitive even. That hsp thing sounds pretty deep.
@Perry1968 hypervigilance can be from trauma(s).
I tried to explain to my dad what it FEELS like to be ME: It is like having my skin peeled off and being exposed with all my nerve endings bare, and I feel things so much more than the average person.
Dad did NOT get it at all :)
Yes I would say it is pretty deep for sure, it is not anything you can grow out of or change. You are or you are not an HSP.
