Why is it so difficult to find a picture to have as your avatar?

Increasingly I think that a completed profile page is going to be essential if you want any kind of connections with me here. It’s not difficult, just find an abstract photo or cartoon somewhere and show it as your avatar picture here. Doesn’t have to be a photo of you if you’re worried about friends or colleagues discovering you. Most people don’t use their personal information here anyway.
