Buckland Abbey. Buckland Monachorum. Devon. UK

700 years old. Posh as fook whilst im as common as mook. Francis Drakes old house. Its beautiful though. And a really weird tree which i dont know wtf it is? But yes anyway for 700 years old its stood the test of time. It have a lovely view going as far as the river Tamar.

Since the name includes 'abbey,' does that mean it was built out of the remains of one of the monasteries that Henry VIII allowed to be ransacked? The longevity of the structure might be due to its original ecclesiastic nature.

@ElwoodBlues I have no idea of the history of the building but it is certainly plausible.
