I much prefer stockings, but since coming out to my wife I often find it much easier to wear tights for day to day wear. For dressing to be at my best, or for dates it has to be stockings.
Nb Hold ups should be a good option, but I find the tops are rolling over and / or the whole thing is sliding down.
