They probably have a Tupperware party to go to in the afternoon and set their hair in curlers to dry before then.

@cherokeepatti do people in America still have tupperware parties? I think they went bankrupt over here. Even Avon sellers never call anymore.

@meggie I have no idea because nobody has invited me to one since the early 80’s. These parties where people host it to their relatives, friends & coworkers has fallen out of favor here. There used to be cookware parties, Avon parties, Tupperware parties, Mary Kay, Amway and Raleigh. They found other ways to sell their products especially online. I think people just sell to co-workers and friends from a small catalog. I think they also sell on Amazon. Watched a video this afternoon of a young man who bought an Amazon pallet and there was a box of Tupperware in it. Rubbermaid products are much less expensive in the last few decades. I still have Tupperware from the 1970’s that I use.

@cherokeepatti yes i think you are right. I occasionally hear people referring to them, but thankfully I missed that era. Also Amway was another house party thing which probably went bust too.
