Picture storage

Thank you everyone for your replies to my other post. Everyone was so helpful! What do u guys think about the best way to then store thenphysical pictures. Are the sleeves safe? Like generic ones from amazon? Im thinking maybe a binder.

well. that would depend on the sizes of your physical pictures. if they are all the same or many are the same i like the kind of binder that has two slots per page 4 front and back. usually have a little spot to write somethign too. for larger pictures maybe a scrapbook type album. dont getteh kind with teh sticky-ish pages they can sometimes ruin pictures

Any storage for treasured photos, papers, or artwork should be "archival" quality, neutral PH. It costs more, but the plastics and papers involved contain no acids or other chemicals to damage the materials you are storing.

You need to get the sleeves that are acid free paper and have some kind of uv protection. This will keep them from fading. A cool dry place also helps.

Most, if not all photo sleeves are made of archival suitable material.
