So you would have been maybe 18 or 19 back then?
With getting one's life together, it's kind of scary how all the sudden at that age, reality decides to slap us awake.
Like one minute we are kids and overnight we are adults.

@CestManan I was 19 at that time, yeah. Turned 20 a few months after.
But yeah it's crazy how that works. Those incidents certainly forced me to get off my ass, because before that I didn't care enough about anything. Those experiences taught me so much about life & how important it is.. but also how unimportant everything else is. Like materials or basically anything we own. It's all worthless. Because you can lose it all tomorrow then get it back.
The only thing you never get back is life
