What about the Catoctin Creek Aqueduct? You need to see that one, too!

@ChipmunkErnie From Catoctin Aqueduct to Camp David is about 30 miles.

I have crossed Catoctin Creek a few times not far from its mouth, but never knew there was an aqueduct. I will have to look for it next time I am out that way!

I go into Catoctin Park often, and usually walk a little on a trail about a mile from Camp David (it is hidden behind trees, though).

Reminds me of many years ago driving along the New Jersey side of the Delaware Water Gap and realizing there was a canal inland, running parallel to the road AND above it at some points.

I crossed the Delaware in that Gap, at the extreme north of New Jersey, on my way from Maryland to Maine, and back. Very scenic!

Wow what a beautiful place! And the beard suits you!

@JustNik

It was my first visit. I never knew how cute it would be! There is no water (the bridge now has drains!) so you can actually walk or bike where the boats once went!

I work from home now, so decided to stop shaving. Nobody cares!
wow! these pics are stunning!!!!!! 💙 and you are looking sharp my friend! 🤗

Thank you, my friend.

They should build modern bridges to look like that!
