Pictures and Shit ?

Just wondering if anyone else has noted a marked difference from what a profile lists as number of pics and albums, and what you can actually view ?

Are people removing photos all over the place ?
Is it a restriction/privacy thing ?
Am I not clicking the correct thing ?

When I go to my albums I see every picture I've ever posted, but I do not have an ALT ACCT to actually test theories and such.
Besides, asking will prove more entertaining, and a quicker path to the answer...

I just know that I've seen pics in albums that are no longer there or viewable.

some people have their photos set to private so only people they are friends with can view their photos

@texasborn89 I've noticed that I cannot see pictures of friends.
That was kind of the point of my question.

Are there ways to filter which friends can and can't see things without unfriending anyone ?
I don't usually go to anyone's page to view photos unless I am a friend here.

I do scan some profiles when a new and interesting person comes across me in replies though.
Mostly just to see if they're really here or some type of ALT ACCT of unknow purpose.
