I was a fan as a kid because they were the home team, and came close to going to the Super Bowl.

But in general I do not pay attention that much to sports. I have lived far away for decades, too, near DC. I never got interested in the Redskins. And the name sucked, too.

I did get interested a little in the Nats. I went to a few games, which was fun.
