Beautiful scenes!
It's hard for we not living in the USA or Canada to think of the R. Mississipi being that lively, because virtually all the published photographs show its lower, calmer reaches across the Mid-Western and Southern States.
Yet we should not be surprised when the maps show its head-waters among the Rocky Mountains as far North as SW Canada.
