@sensualbeauty1 I lived very close to the River Mersey for nearly 3 years. I didn't take enough pictures close to it, but normally it was grey days. I've seen lots of Cruise Liners on it and docked mainly because the Cunard HQ is opposite lol. I saw the Aircraft Carrier HMS Prince of Wales docked too. That's the best part of living in Liverpool except for all The Beatles stuff lol.
@VirginMatchmaker I love listening to the music from the British invasion. My oldest sister had almost all The Beatles, Stones and Dave Clark 5 in her vinyl collection, definitely they were some of the best. Sounds like a great place to grow up though, a very busy area obviously. I have relatives in Wales not sure about England. Was it the Cunard shipping line that built the Titanic?

@sensualbeauty1 it was the White Star Shipping Line that built Titanic, although the ship had some Liverpudlian history. Cunard currently have Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria as their ships. Of course QE2 in Dubai and the Queen Mary in Long Beach were their ships on e upon a time.
Tbh theirs Beatle stuff everywhere in Liverpool and you go to the Cavern Club. Although what they don't tell you is its ok a different place to when The Beatles frequented there lol. Wales is just down the Road from Liverpool tbh.
@VirginMatchmaker Thank you for the information and history, truly appreciated. My Grandmother came over to Canada when she was a child from England. Her father moved to Wales, sold his business and remarried starting a new family after my great grandmother passed away very young. I'd love to visit England one day and check out the Beatles old haunts sounds like a lot of fun.

@sensualbeauty1 Anybofy who likes The Beatles would like it. There's tours that take you to where they grew up and places that songs are named after like Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields and Eleanor Rigby s Grave. But tbh there's more to see than just Beatles stuff. I mean Liverpool has a lot of blockbusters filmed there. The most recent being The Batman. The building he stands on top of is the Liver Building which is next to the Cunard Building. They used St. Georges Hall too, as did Fantastic Beasts. Behind St Georges Hall theres a Tunnel that they used in Fast and Furious 6 for a big set piece that was supposed to be in London. Harry Potter used the same Tunnel too. Going back to the Liver Building Chris Pine was seen running past that and down Canada Boulevard pretending to be in Moscow for the big chase scene in Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit. They used Albert Dock for the the water Scene in Captain America The First Avenger. The rest of the Brooklyn scenes in Captain America were filmed in my home city Manchester which is 40 miles up the road. Manchester again stood in for New York and Brooklyn in the new Morbius film.
