@TexChik That's cool, do you raise those bison?

@sensualbeauty1 No. They are huge and really are only a novelty but our friends do raise them and rent them out to hollywood . They also sell hunts for them. I just liked the pic. Back in the day there were nearly 60 million roaming the plains grazing.

@TexChik I remember reading that in several books about the buffalo roaming the plains in the old west in the US and in Canada. Magnificent creatures, really sad about them being hunted to near extinction. There's a farm about 20kms away that has about a dozen of them roaming around in the pasture.

@TexChik So incredibly senseless, somewhat like the passenger pigeon, the last one died in a zoo in 1914. Today the elephants are nearing extinction because of the greed for their ivory and the beautiful tiger for those beautiful pelts and organs. Perhaps one day before it's too late, mankind will be enlightened.
