@devonman See I don't think places like that are creepy at all. I'm so glad you went in. It doesn't get enough love, it's an amazing place.

It was eerily deserted .

@devonman If it was winter time then tourism is so very much quieter as it can pretty bleak on the moors and it's not exactly a densely populated area but has a few pubs. I hope that was the reason anyway, as I love places like that and if not enough visit they will not survive in the current climate. So I am really pleased to see it here.

again in spring and make sure we pay an evening visit .
I was impressed with the atmosphere within . We still had a beer and soup the only thing on the lunch menu during winter .
