I once chased this beautiful sunset in my car and couldn't quite get to it before it set. I was bummed lol. Damned trees.

@ravenwind43 there's an overlook near the lake. Late last summer I was driving up there and it was one of those days where it was raining a bit but the sunset was breaking through. I was on a road with no views and tried like hell to get to the overlook but missed it. 😣

@NotJamieM I know!:( It's so disappointing because you just can tell it would be a great one!

@ravenwind43 it took me a while to find, but here's one that I took during a business trip to the southwest US, waiting for an Uber to get back to my hotel after dinner.

@NotJamieM I love the way the clouds gather around the sun like that. That's a good one too:)
