@Pfuzylogic there’s loads of Amish people up where I live 👀 The other day I saw an Amish girl in a long blush pink dress & white bonnet riding her bike. She looked like a flower blowing in the wind🌸

I had a paperback that traced our family history when the two brothers immigrated here in 1803. A combination of Yoder and other family names! They do make the most incredible of pies and your canned peaches reminded me when we had pies and fried chicken in Kokomo!

@Pfuzylogic that’s a lovely memory 🤗 Every Tuesday in a church parking lot up the road near my house the Amish set up stands and sell all their freshly made goods. The grilled chicken is excellent. They also sell some nice woodwork chairs, and quilts. All kinds of cozy things

@Cinder I remember them being incredibly quiet and to themselves with long dresses with the drabbest colors and the boys had their bowl haircuts which would be the exact opposite of the hair I have! 🤭
