Moss of any kind is one of my favorite things. Especially when it's like a patchwork carpet on the forest floor. Sigh.

I actually prefer the kind of moss you're talking about, though. It looks like nothing else.

Exactly. It looks like it should be something from the ocean, but it's not! It's like land coral.
