It's pretty common for old bunches of Spanish moss to be full of chiggers- basically blood-sucking mites that leave really itchy spots. I cringe every time I see a tourist hold a bunch up like a beard or wig. 😖

That would be most of them! I'm not a huge bug fan, either. Don't even get me started on sand gnats! I'm actually in Savannah, but it might as well be SC!

I've been to Georgia lots but never Savannah. I've been to Charleston SC a few times. I know all about the sand gnats!
