Night shots are challenging. Usually foreground or background are over exposed, Windows notoriously fall victim to this issue. You found the sweet spot. Well done.

Well, if I'd had my gear I would've take it a little differently. I only had my phone, so it is what it is.

Now I want to go back with a tripod and flash and play. No time for that at them moment though. *pout*

@ProdigalSummer: have you ever played wit painting a subject? So you set up your camera on a super slow times exposure, then use a colored light and shine it on an area that has little to no light? It's pretty fun, though the days of photoshop pretty much killed all the old timey tricks like this.
