The ship Mars [I Love Old Photographs]

This ship Mars was moored off Dundee in the 19th century. According to legend, the 'bad boys' were sent here. In reality it was a place where young boys were trained for a life at sea to prevent them going astray.

@SW-User When I lived in Dundee I found it was a very maritime city with two and a half historic ships and a huge history from mediaeval battles against the English to being a submarine base in the Second World War, with Arctic exploration, whaling and trading in between.
