I Love Old Photographs

They used to have a class in high school called home Eck short for home economics it was all about teaching girls how to go be wives. You started cooking, methodology of cleaning, laundry pretty much everything including lots of stuff about babies. I found a textbook of this in an old closet, it looks like it was for about the same time really cool though.

I have my great grandmother's cook books from during the Great Depression. It has the craziest recipes like peanut butter soup and baked possum. The only thing I have every made from it has been various crust.

Make sure if you try that recipe, that you ship the egg whites in a ceramic or metal bowl. Plastic won't get you anywhere.

I love Angel Food cake, it was my favorite growing up. Great look back into the past!
