Been in hospital for a few days after having an operation to remove a blood clot. The operation went badly and I actually died for four minutes...I've been told it's a miracle I have no signs of brain damage.
Anyway, tonight will be my fourth night in hospital and I'm hating it. I want to be home and back in my own bed, but fully understand I'm stuck here until I have my strength back.
Basically, I want to be me again, like I was last weekend. I miss this version of me already.
I know in the past we had some misunderstandings, and I'm sorry for that. What I want you to know is that I hope you recover quickly and get back home and continue to grow stronger. If you don't remember me, that's okay, and not important. No worries, just get stronger and better. 👍🤗💞
Btw, last March, my wife gave blood for the first time ever, and she actually died for a minute or two. No rhyme or reason, but she did... So I can Imagine... 🤗🤗🤗 Kelly💞.
It takes awhile after that surgery, especially if they are pulmonary clots and the blood thinners make you feel weak for awhile too. Keep your spirits up. You are still alive and have a lot of life ahead of you. This is just a pothole.
@MaryJo1996 I feel blessed to be alive every day now. It is so important right now that you stay positive because it impacts your recovery. If they have an aftercare program where you can get involved do it. My journey with yoga started after my illness and it has helped me a lot. You want to take an active approach to your healing. Be very involved and make sure you research all the drugs and treatments yourself. Know about them ahead of time. I have been in your shoes.
@Fungirlmmm I do my best to avoid drugs actually, I take enough already for various other issues. But i do agree with what you're saying about being positive, etc. Just hard at the minute.
